I just did this test and discovered how fast I read 615 words a minute which is 45% faster than average!!! I am most impressed and would encourage you to go check it out!!!!!!!

More fun!!!

Okay so  I found this on Miriam's blog: Thoughts of a Shieldmaiden. (Who is an amazing writer/blogger by the way. ) And it looked fun so I stole it!!!! :D

1) What is the flight velocity of an unladen sparrow? Its lifes greatest mystery. For centuries wise men and women have sat staring at sparrows pondering this all to important question.

2) What’s a book you’ve been dying to read but have never found the time to pick up? One?! Just one?? Oh my gosh this is hard!!! I have a stack beside my bed and you want me to choose one???!?!?!?!?!!!!!!  Um...........  I have it!!!!!! The Emporer of Ni Hon Ja by john Flanagan!!!!  That would be topity tops I beleive. :)

3) Favorite TV show past or present? Gossip Girl !!!!!!  I know my goodness my secret is out.  I like Gossip Girl. Although my family does not share this love of mine we do bond over Fawlty Towers. :D

4) Least favorite TV show past or present?  I Dream of Jeanie!!!! Hate it!!!!!!!  Boring and sooooo preduictable.

5) If aliens abducted us all and Twilight was the last book written in a human language, would you preserve it for future generations? Hmmmmm, probably. I'm a sucker for memories and last time doing  things. :)

6) Narnia or LOTR (books, not movies)?  For Narnia and for Aslan!!!!!!!! Do not tell me LOTR's is better it just isn't. Plus it doesn't have fauns or Lions that talk. :)

7) Favorite Pixar film?  Toy Story 3. :)   I love all the Toy story movies. But this one is just full of sweetness.  And Ken and Barbie. :D

8) Do you have a particular proclivity for pyrotechnics?  No, not really though I must admit they do look quiet spectacular at night.

9) Should she marry Kokoum?  No! No!No! No! And again No!!!! Kokoum is as Annie Oakley would say "a swollen headed stiff." I dislike Kokoum very much.

10) Boba Fett or Jango Fett?  Jango Fett. His fighting skills are way cooler . And he has so much more cool gadgets. And his suit is much shinier and cooler.

11) If two witches are watching two watches, which witch would watch which watch? Well, the first witch would watch the watch to the right which is purple. Because she likes purple. And the second witch would watch the second watch because the other witch is her older sister .And she said if she didn't watch the non purple one she'd burn her broom!And the second witch doesn't really do violence so all is saticfactory with the watch watching witches. :D

Things I love : Swings!!!!!

 One of the things I love the most is swinging. :]  I've always loved them and I think I always will, my Mummy still goes on them. :D                               

                   There is no right words to describe the feeling you get when swinging.  Excited and Joyful don't quite cut it.  Its both those and more, its a Thrilling Adventure, and (most importantly) a Journey in Poetry and Song.           
                      Because very time I go on a swing I feel like singing, songs I've heard , songs that just pop into my head while swinging or I begin having poetry float about my head. Especially this old poem by Robert Louis Stevenson       "The Swing"

                                       How do you like to go up in a swing,
                                      Up in the air so blue?
                                       Oh, I do think it the pleasantest thing
                                      Ever a child can do!

Auditions and joy.

 First off I want to say thank you to all the comments I got on my last post: THANK YOU!!!!!

I will be auditioning for the musical "Bad Girls" its a story of a women's prison, and well all the "Bad Girls" who are in it.  Here's a link from Wikipedia on it.  I have to find a song to sing and choose which parts to audition for and try to understand the characters a bit better.  A dear friend who has been involved in this kind of stuff before has offered to give me a training session on Skype. :D  I am very excited and even if I don't get a part its a good experience and its also fun!          I know theres going to be a lot of competition, its a musical about "Bad Girls" so I 'm betting there will be TONS of other girls auditioning, you know what I don't care.   I'm just gonna do my best and enjoy the adventure and just see where it goes. It may end after the audition or it could go on longer.   Either way, I'm going to be happy and enjoy it.

I'm back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Yesterday I arrived home.   After an awesome week ,  may I say the best in my life?    I met soooooo many people who I now call "friends" and caught up with friends.  

My Deb. Ball was magical.   I have so much to share with you all through my blog.  

Plus while we where away my entire family and I went to Soveriegn Hill.    Fun!!!!!!!!

#2.This optical illusion is very cool. Concentrate your eyesight on it , stare at it for about 20 seconds and then glance at the wall.   * Isn't that marvelous!!!!

#3.   This one is very beautiful I think.  In fact in this post it is my favorite.  Jesus has a soft face and looks at me lovingly, and I look and I see even more. Literally.

Magic sticks and canes.

I felt like posting something kind of amusing. And thanks to Saxon came up with this idea.   Below I shall tell a little about the cane or stick, who it belongs to , what its used for and give it a rating from 1-10.

1.Nanny McPhees stick
Nanny McPhee uses her stick to inflict punishments on the children under her care to teach them her "lessons."

Resulting in hilarious incidents. It has a really cool shape and your grandfather could never mistake it for his walking stick.   Rating: 7 out of 10





2.Gandalf's staff.

One cannot list all that Gandalf does with his staff.  He says he uses it as a walking stick and lamp of sorts . We know better.  It looks like an old tree root .  Rating 5 out of 10

3.Willy Wonka's cane.
Willy Wonka really just has his cane is not  for looks and to tap things it has a whistle built into it and who knows what else! . Its very striking looking  and  is sure to make you smile or gasp in surprise when you see it.  Rating 10 out of 10.










                                                   

                                                         4.Mary Poppins umbrella.

Mary Poppins umbrella is wonderful to say the least. It has a live parrot for its handle and can pull you up in the air and make you fly. providing you with the ultimate get away car.  Its a classic black umbrella what more can we say? Rating 8 out of 10

                            5.Saruman's staff.
Saruman's staff , like himself, looks and is used for evil.
 We personally don't like it and would not recommend it ,
or Saruman to anyone.

6.Yoda's wookiee stick.
Isn't it sweet? It is homey and natural looking.  Yoda uses it as a walking stick, but, when he fights he seems to have no need of it at all!

7.Beckett's walking stick.
Lord Cutler Beckett's cane is used for show and to scare people. On the tip of it he has a brand in the shape of a "p". We would say don't get this cane as you will clunk and scratch floors terribly.

Bilbo's walking stick is used to assist him in hiking over mountains. A useful feature for any would be adventurer. One thing though it it Hobbit size.  Rating 9 out of 10

Its today.

Yep. This morning at 9:55 AM  I said hello to 18.     I was a little sad to say goodbye to 17, we've been such good friends and done so much together: Went on my first pilgrimage, my first ball,  seen many new movies together, and racked my brains thinking about many things. But, hey! I do that all the time!    What will 18 be like?  Fun?   I hope so.   I was thinking last night how 10 years ago I dreamed of being 18 and all I hoped it would bring.  And I started thinking what will it bring?  Will it be all I've dreamed of?   What's it going to be like to be considered and adult? And actually BE one?!?!?    Yeah, I feel like Rapunzel. So in honour of my 18th birthday here is a little song for ya to listen to while thinking about me!
