Guess what!!!!!

Today is s special day for me. Its my Blogaversary!!!!!

3 years ago I started this wee little blog and even though I go through periods where I am not blogging much if at all. I always return to it and have kept at it . Not for anyone else's benefit, not because I want a ton of followers, not for any reason under the sun except I love Blogging. I like the fact I can share anything on my little patch of cyberspace.  I shall be spending the day thinking in how best to celebrate this milestone and shall post up what it will be very very soon!!!!!

Booyah! I live!!!!

Hello all! Yes, I know its been awhile since I wrote some blog post besides  A Damsels Day Book. But, I have been using this time to re think about:  Why I blog. What do I really want to blog about.  And trying to think how much time I actually need on the computer each day.       Computers are awesome right? And Google.... Well, Google is my friend.  But, I know personally that if I spend to much time in front of a screen I don't do any creative stuff or read much of any good books. And it doesn't do a thing for me. I'm looking to find more balance in my life so I'm going to be seriously trying to find it.  I'll be back once I've finished working out my list of stuff I actually want to blog about.    *blows kisses* Bless you all!

So, this is my 200th post .   And these are a couple of things I'm mulling over  and working on currently.
THINGS I'M WORKING ON
Whether to audition for a part in a local musical or not. I've never done anything like this before and I think it would at the least be a good learning experience.

Finish vamping up my resume soon, like tonight.

Keep up with my fitness program. I'm beginning to see even more results.

Order a new book I want .

Work on some blog post ideas.

I'm trying to figure out a lot of stuff in my life and am finding it a bit challenging.

STUFF I'M THINKIN' 'BOUT.

Why don't I get more comments on my blog?  I'm not really complaining , but I'm curious . I personally find nearly always something to comment about on all the blogs I follow, and I just can't work out why I don't get many. Are people bored with my blog? What do they like to read about here? Should I just stop blogging for a while?   Do people not like my blog?     Just wondering.

Why do some people have to go through sooooo much difficult hard to understand stuff and other people nothing like that at all?

I'm thinking up a couple of new story lines .

Anyhoo  that's pretty much it .   Stuff   I'm thinking and working on and trying to understand.
Maybe tonight I'll watch something I love and drink something sweet and comfortable and just relax and forget them all.  Sounds lovely no?

Did I mention along with Wolverine i also love this guy?  I <3 you Dastan!!!!!

Questions and answers ( my favourite game)

Alrighty the questions and the answers
From Monica:
Did you know anyone on blogger when you first started?  Um, apart from my mum. There was one other person , Elise.  Who I knew from years back. We've never actually met.But we know some of the same people and have talked on Skype.

From Claretta:
What is your least /most favourite thing about being a big sister?  My favourite thing would be when my littlest brothers and sisters rush up and give me a hug or won't let me go but want me to stay with them.
My least favourite would be  when I start something and am then called to come help with them. Because chances are I probably won't be able to come back to it for a while. If at all.
What do you want to be when you "grow up"?  Currently , I don't really know. I have so many interests and loves that finding out what I want to be is a bit of a challenge. But , I'm keeping my eyes peeled for Prince Charming.
From Imogene:
What first got you blogging? Well, I had been reading  this great blog, which I loved. And my Mum had one and  I thought "Hey, I'm going to try blogging" and here I am 2 years later and still loving it.
Have you made many friends through blogging?  Yes, many. And you're one of them!
What don't you like about the blogging community ( if anything)?  I hate when someone posts something they believe in strongly about and someone leaves a nasty comment. I believe it to be very cruel.
Having experienced it on my blog. And seen it on others.
My opinion is you should only comment if you have something positive and good to say, because that is one way of spreading sunshine.
From My Mummy :
I am wondering what are your favourite type of posts to write ?  Mummy, i like to write about people that inspire me and things I love . And do you have a direction for the coming year ,or are you happy with  where you are at the moment?  Mummy, I just want to blog.
Also do you write more when people comment more?  I think so.

And there you have it!  Hope you enjoyed my answers to your questions I enjoyed answering them!TTFN

T. L. M. C. Day 26: A childhood memory. Day 27: A physical feature you love.

Day  26 :  A childhood memory

Okay I am a child. At least until July.   Um,............... thinking......... thinking.........Got one!

Alright I was 6 we lived kinda near the beach. It was just a short drive away .   I think, I was only small. Anyway .  We went to the like the harbour to see....... Can you guess?   Whales!!!!!!!    I remember driving in the car watching them through the windows. And watching them move around and their tales poking through the water.
Not my photo : I think they were kinda like this.
I was very excited to see real whales.   I think i had seen "Free Willy" or whatever its called its about whales anyway.   I can remember many other things but  this is a special memory for me.
Not my photo : I remember their tales like this
I don't remember every part of it in great detail. I only remember being in the car and seeing the whales.
Day 27: A physical feature you love.

This will probably sound weird to you but my favourite physical feature would be eyes.  Yeah, I guess that sounds weird.    But eyes tell soooooo much about a person. you can see what they are feeling inside and kind  of see what they're like.  Does any one else love eyes?

Not my photo.  But  look at it!
Not my photo: Brilliant Green . Awesome!

T. L. M. C. Day 25: A recipe.

This is one of my favourite cakes.   My Mummy has made this all my life. It is     SCRUMPTIOUS!!!!!

Quick Easy Chocolate Fudge Cake~

1 packet of chocolate cake mix
1 packet of chocolate instant pudding mix
1 packet of chocolate drops
2 eggs
1 3/4 cups of milk

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix with a wooden spoon

Bake at 180 degrees until cake leaves the side of the pan

Serve on it's own or with cream and strawberries.
We usually double this recipe and use a mixture of white and milk chocolate drops.
It makes two or three  cakes.  But, who really cares so long as its a chocolate right?

T. L. M. C. Day 24: A movie no one would expect you to love.

Okay . I guess it would have to be " Rambo: First Blood." I watched this with my two big brothers and one of my younger brothers Saxon.

I had a VERY interesting storyline. He was very impressive when he fought.
And He has a great knife! The hilt screws off and inside he has some survival things inside .
I love action films. Surprised? And this was very good Here is a link to the Wikipedia review.

T. L. M. C. Day 21 : Something you know you do differently than most people

Okay. what do I do differently from most people?  Um?  Help?  I 'm thinking!  I'm thinking! I really am!
Alright I have one! I really do!

I randomly speak in accents in the middle of talking to someone , often without noticing : German, English, French, posh English, Cockney ( also known as Eliza Dolittle) , American ( yes , several actually)  and some other ones I can't remember.
Happy now?  You should be. This was not easy for me AT all I had to ask my siblings for help.
I wont tell you their suggestions .

T. L. M. C. Day 20 : A hobby of yours.

Alrighty this is easier then yesterdays was! I have many hobbies. I  sing, draw, write stories and do  many other things. But, I think the one I use the most often and easily is, my ability to make people laugh.
Yes "Weird" your saying. But I do. I'll often say something that makes my Mummy laugh or do something she thinks is funny. Sometimes I'm just being me and do or say something seriously that Mummy thinks is funny. I also do the same with my siblings .
I'll try to make my family laugh when they're feeling down some of them are so hard to get to laugh it can become a chore if I don't try properly.
I love to laugh and I love to make other people laugh.
If everyone would make an effort to laugh each day I'm sure the world would be a better place and we would all be happier.

T. L. M. C. Day 19 : A talent of yours

Well, I'm talented at many things. I enjoy and love doing sooooooo many things. But, I think the one my family would agree is my best is cooking.
I've been helping my Mummy cooks since I could walk.   I remember making bread with her when I was tiny.
When I was about 8 i started cooking without Mummy's help.
Now at 17 I can honestly say I can cook . I often prepare dinner with My sisters and will make snacks for all of us and desserts.
Sometimes I've made a horrifying mistake , like, to much salt or flipped out a cake to soon and it fell apart.
But, I see these mistakes as good they teach me not to do it again.

T. L. M. C. Days 16 to 18 : )

Day 16 : A song that makes you laugh.
Um, this is hard. I don't know if i actually have one that makes me laugh. I find things amusing but they have to be hysterical to make me laugh or silly. Hmmmmmm? What song?
I think it would have to be " Ebay" by weird Al Yankovic. One I first heard it I thought it made me laugh, now because my siblings play it all the time it doesn't.

Day 17: An art piece.
Okay , so why are you looking at me like that/ This is my favorite art piece.
The Lady of Shallot by John William Waterhouse. There is so much going on this picture!
It tells you so much and conveys oodles of meaning to me.  Its so GORGEOUS!!!!!

Day 18: A time when you felt passionate and alive.
Um, That is a weird question. Hardly a day goes by when I am not feeling alive. With the changing seasons and new things happening all the time how could you not feel alive? So, To answer the question I feel alive right now. As for passionate... well, I get passionate about things and people I love and care for . If someone says something I believe in is rubbish then I feel very passionate in defending that.

T. L. M. C. Day 15 : Day 15: A person you admire.

Well, as you could no doubt see from "Day 8"  I greatly admire Father Felix.     but, I shall write about someone else I admire.  Now, the obvious choices would be Jesus, my parents and all those other type of ones. and while these are all people I greatly admire I am going to post on someone else.    But who?   Hmmmm?
C. S. Lewis!    He wrote such wonderful books.  books , that speak to my heart. Books that teach me many things. i am currently reading "The Screwtape letters" for school.  They are most interesting. I wonder if Mummy would now allow me to read all his other books too?  He is such an inspiration to me. But, he is just one of many who inspire me in my day to day life.

Staying up late watching movies on school nights.  I love staying up late  but, it is not a good idea for me to stay up late on school nights. As I often end up having a bad day tomorrow or get up late.     *bleh*    Bad move!  I'm working on it though and trying to get up regardless of what time I went to bed.

Update.

My computer is being weird and won't let me get to photos and just doing randomly crazy stuff like shutting down on me. :(   My Internet is also very slow at the moment and it takes a very long time for blogging stuff to load.  Henceforth I won't be blogging unless the computer loves me.  Which hopefully will be soon as I am sooooooo behind in TLMC!      I shall return! Hopefully in the next few days.

T. L. M. C. Day 8 : A thank you letter to someone who has changed your life.

Day 8: A thank you letter to someone who has changed your life.
Hmmmmmm, there are so many people in ones life who change it. I know if my Mum hadn't taught me to read I wouldn't be the same person, I know if I couldn't cook I wouldn't be the same person. But, my Mum taught me all these and more and for that I am grateful and thankful.

But, who else has changed my life? I think Father Felix, our assistant parish priest from Nigeria would be one of the people who has changed my life and also my outlook on life. Yes, I think I'll go with Fr. Felix.

Dear Father Felix,
I just want to say thank you for everything you've done for me. You've taught me many things without realising it. You've taught me to not look on the bad side of things but to have hope that everything is for a purpose God's purpose and if I start to feel like there is so much unfairness in my life I should remember what you say ,    " God is not fair. God is generous."

You've taught me to live by JOY . Living first for Jesus , then for others , and then for myself. And doing it JOYfully.      You've shown me that  Trust, Faith and Hope in Jesus should be my number one priority.    You 've shown me that even though you can be a stranger in a strange land, and the culture changes, people are still people.  They still need to be loved , respected and honoured.

Fr. Felix, I know when you left Nigeria for Tasmania you said you were scared and nervous.  But, through it all you had faith and you showed me that  as it says on The Princess Diaries  movies that
" Courage is not the absence of fear. but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear."          You also smile all the time and in that way show others your happy no matter what, and I'm working on that.

Father Felix  I thank God that you changed my life.
And I thank God for sending you to Tasmania.

Thank you

Number Four :  Paper !  That means paper of all types, books, notepads, coloured paper , scrapbook paper etc.
Number Five : A good nights sleep.

                                    Immaterial.

T. L. M. C. Day 6 A Moment You Wish You Could Relive.

I really don't know what moment I would  really  want to relive .
So,  I  think I would like to relive  the moment I was told that I had a new Baby Sister/Brother.
But, I wouldn't know which of my siblings I would  like to be told had just arrived .
I only know that those moment(s) are some of the happiest of my life.
All the waiting for this new sibling was worth it, you hold them , cuddle them, tickle them and just LOVE them.
I love the feeling of excitement as I go to meet a new sibling.
And  I love that  God loves me and my family so much that He has so far given me 9 little siblings and one on the way!
Yes, I would definitely like to relive one of these moments if I could.

My First Day of The Love Month Challenge.

Okay , my first day of  "The Challenge "  I am catching up on the days.  So, they are very short answers.

 Day 1: A favorite song.
Okay my favorite song  currently would have to be, " Party" by Demi Lovato. It puts me in a real good mood . plus I love singing along!

Day 2: A favorite movie.
My all time favorite movie would have to be The Princess Bride. I have been watching it all my life and my family and I can recite lines, quotes and everything from that movie.  plus, what girl doesn't like Wesley?

Day 3: A favorite book.
My favorite book ( not including the Bible :D ) today would have to be,  " Laddie " by Gene Stratton Porter.   it is funny, dramatic, sweet, family orientated and just plain good!!!!

Day 4: A favorite television program.
My favorite TV program would have to be, "The Road to Avonlea."  I'm an L. M. Montgomery nut, especially when it comes to movies or  TV shows I can quote. :D    We only have the first season on DVD as we don't have TV reception  and so only watch DVDs.

Day 5: A favorite quote.
My favorite quote, well the one I first thought of today is "How can one say there are to many children? That's like saying there are to many flowers" Mother Teresa.
