Happy birthday Vellvin! : And Sisterhood.

 Today is a special day in my family. We are celebrating my li'l Si's 13th birthday. And it made me think Gosh, I remember the day she was born!  Man I am old"  Nah, not really old. :D   I hope I don't look old!  
I remember the day Vellvin was born. I was 5 and  I remember my grandmother was there with us and we went to the hospital to see her. And she was pretty, I don't remember holding her but I know I did. I sorta remember looking at her little fingers and toes.  I remember being so happy to have another little sister.  
              I remember after we had visited Mummy and Vellvin we got ice creams.  Not just ordinary ice creams special ones.  And I remember I saved mine in the freezer.   That's how special that was.
          I remember some months later when Vellvin was about 6 months old, Mummy asked me if I wanted to hold Vellvin and have a cuddle with her. I know I'd held Vellvin before  but I remember this one because Mummy took a photo of me and Vellvin. And I remember feeling so grown up.  I also love that photo of Vellvin and me.
                        I remember on my 13th birthday when Vellvin was 8  how much she enjoyed my birthday it was pirate themed and she was dressed up as a little pirate and I remember I was talking on the phone to someone  who was wishing me happy  birthday  and all my siblings came and told me to get off the phone so we could have cake and Vellvin was grabbing my legs and hugging me.   
                           I'm always surprised to read about sisters who are 5 years apart and they don't do anything together.   Vellvin and I are more than just sisters, we're best mates, we enjoy the same things.  She understands me and I understand her . I'd fight anyone who threatened to harm her.   We're soul sisters.       
                      Whats even better is that there  is not just  Vellvin and I , I have my first little sister Eden.  Shes 16 years old  and  shes gorgeous in many ways. Shes sweet  and has a very large sweet tooth. :D                                            All of us three girls, are sisters but we're bound to each other with more than just common blood. We're soul sisters.   And you know whats cool about us being a threesome?  Most movies of sisters have three sister.  :)    I look and Vellvin, Eden also love our   3 little sisters  very much.  I think how much fun there having now and how much more fun they're going to have when they're older.      Vellvin, I love you babe! Happy 13th Birthday!         

  If you have a sister tell her you love her do some things with her.  Because we don't know what tomorrow may bring we only have today.

Happy Birthday ......

To my sweet , sweet sister Eden , who is  turning "Sweet 16"  today!!!!!!!
Now to  celebrate this momentous occasion her is a list of things to do while being 16.  A very , awesome age if I do say so myself  .  Okay here we go!

Number One:  Sing The Sound of Music song "16 going on 17" as often as possible. every day is good.

Number Two:   Make a dress that screams " I'm 16  your not ! Haha!!!!"

Number Three :  Get your license . Unfortunately your not allowed to drive until I have MY P plates. :D

Number Four : Drink a cup of tea every day in a teacup. Its so grown up!!!!!

Number Five :   Call everyone  " Darling or Dearest"  it makes 'em feel loved. I would know.

Number Six:   Think a beautiful thought each day before eating breakfast.

Number Seven :   Learn one of my favorite    songs to sing with  me. phantom of the Opera, but oh yeah. You'll probably be singing The Phantom's part 'cause I know you love him!!!!!!

Number Eight :  Make a list of  Cool Male Characters from books and movies. ie. Wolverine, Dustfinger, Laurie from Little Women,  Skeeter, and Anikan. Woops!!!! Thats only if you want to be killed by your  imaginary boyfriend. :D

Number Nine:  Wear your hair in rag curls , as its so Victorian!!!!!

Number Ten :  Take a break form reading just 3 series of books and read good Ladylike, Educational, soul nourishing books . ie. Pride and Prejudice, Emma and  Agatha Christie mysteries. Okay the last was a joke I don't want you to end up in rehab.

Number Eleven :   Memorize EVERY single line from ,  "Princess Diaries 1" as Princess Mia is 16.

Number Twelve :    Learn to like "Camp Rock"  better than " High School Musical" like me.

Number Thirteen :    Hang out more wid me girlfriend . Ya too awesome to be alone!!!!!  Ya gotta groove like none else that just to groovy! ( I apologize dearest,  for the way that's written . It nearly killed me to make those grammatical mistakes )

Number Fourteen:   Write a list of things that you want to do now your 16.

Number Fifteen :  Remember that even though you're now 16 I'm 18 and therefore older than you so

Number Sixteen:  Remember ... you're only 16 once so make every second count!!!!!!!!

Its today.

Yep. This morning at 9:55 AM  I said hello to 18.     I was a little sad to say goodbye to 17, we've been such good friends and done so much together: Went on my first pilgrimage, my first ball,  seen many new movies together, and racked my brains thinking about many things. But, hey! I do that all the time!    What will 18 be like?  Fun?   I hope so.   I was thinking last night how 10 years ago I dreamed of being 18 and all I hoped it would bring.  And I started thinking what will it bring?  Will it be all I've dreamed of?   What's it going to be like to be considered and adult? And actually BE one?!?!?    Yeah, I feel like Rapunzel. So in honour of my 18th birthday here is a little song for ya to listen to while thinking about me!

Turn  18  *gulp*.    Yep, that big number .
The age when the world considers you an adult, even if you yourself don't quiet think you are?  Yep, that one.
The age when you can vote?
Yep, that one.
the age when you can do things like: smoke , drink, and do numerous other not to good things legally? 
Yep, that one.
The age where if your arrested you are treated , well , not like a kid anymore?
Yep that one. 

And I am soooooo excited and well, nervous.    Because what does being 18 mean?  I  hope that the year i have being 18 will be one of the best in my life.  

And now, ranting , moaning and sorting out the  bit of  a muddle in my head.

I remember thinking that when I turned 18 everything would be perfect. You know, I would be "grown up"  and Prince Charming would just drop into my lap.

But HEY!!!!!!!   It doesn't work like that. You and Prince Charming have to search for each other.
You might be lucky and meet him early in life.  He could be that nice guy you meet at a friends . Or maybe you just meet him without hardly trying to find him.

I've  realised  that even though girls I know who are even younger then me  have  just found their prince Charming , that no matter how i wish it was me it won't be.

  I'm single. And while some days I may tell myself that  "yeah, God will send me prince Charming some day".
  It doesn't always mean tomorrow.

And that at this stage in my life I have to learn how to : Hope, love and Trust . Trust that I'll be guided in what I'm supposed to do with my life, and who I'm meant to spend my life with.

  And I  believe that by trusting even a little  everything will be okay.      

Hey! I'm (nearly) 18 years old, young , single and most wonderful of all  ....... I've got my whole life ahead of me to live.      

And right now even though I feel like I'm hiding behind a haystack waiting, I hope , dream and wish that someday it'll be more like this:

A Brief Narration of My Week.

Alright. Tuesday was my birthday and I thank you all for the lovely birthday wishes. On Monday night my family gave me my main present, so as to make sure IT became attached to me and not one of my siblings. It was a puppy, a cute Labrador Kelpie cross. I named her Bonnie. Two days later I took her to the vet to be vaccinated and the vet said she had WORMS!!!!! So I gave her the worm tablet and it was foul!!!! I will not describe it as it was very gross upset me very much and ... well we wont go there .We then discovered she hadn't been weaned properly! So I have to give her watered down milk. Bonnie was fussy the first couple of days but now , thank goodness, she is settling in . I would upload pictures but the computer wont let me but I will as soon as I am able too. I would appreciate prayers that she settles in quick that she sleeps through the night all tonight and becomes toilet trained very quick .
Oh, and prayers that Cupcake our cat will come back as she has been missing for a few days and we haven't a clue where she could be.
I just can't beleive I am 17 . Wow in another year I will be 18 !!!!! I know some of you will think me silly but I honestly thing that I will never and shall never and could never really grow up . I don't see why I cant be a kid the rest of my life and really what makes somone an adult? There age? How mature they are? My granfather has never really grown upand I don't see why I can't be like him . I beleive he has more fun then most adults his age and he is 78!!!!!
Anyway I feel totally random and am very happy.
As I said I will post pictures of Bonnie soon.
